As Charlie Demerjian reported earlier this month, flagship AMD technology codenamed Trinity is delayed.
Semiaccurate reported that the chip was delayed from an expected August launch to September, but now very reliable sources tell TechEye that this has been shoved backwards to October.
Partners waiting for the technology are more than a little disgruntled at the delay and have said that AMD has declined to tell them exactly what the problem is.
Trinity was expected to pull several coals out of AMD’s fire. We’ll keep our eyes to the word on the Computex strasse.
